Covid Health and Safety Guidelines

Classes and activities are open for in-person and online participation. Please refer to our guidelines to plan for your return.

Covid Safe Guidelines for In Person Classes and Activities:

  • Anyone exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 will be asked to stay home/leave and take classes online, until symptom free for at least 24 hours without medication. If fever exists with symptoms, a negative Covid test result will be required to return.

  • Health screeners (click here) are required for children, under the age of 18, even those vaccinated. Adults will not be required to complete screeners for themselves. Adults will be asked to wait outside for their children, however, to reduce the number of people in the building, unless the child is unable to separate from the parent (under 6, with a disability, etc). In those special cases, the number of parents in the lobby/classroom will be limited to no more than two.

  • No child will be allowed to stay without a screener submitted 30 minutes before class start time. Temperatures must be taken at home, not the studio, and screeners will not be accepted at the studio. Carpool parents need to make sure everyone in their group has a screener on file 30 minutes prior to start time.

  • Children not permitted or removed from class will need to be picked up immediately.

  • Students will enter the west doors and exit the east doors. Shoes need to be removed before entering a classroom. Students should bring as little as possible to the studio (only what is needed), and put belongings in the assigned cubbies or under designated chair spaces, in each classroom.

  • Everyone must wear a properly fitting mask the entire time inside, regardless of vaccination status, including small children over the age of two. It is best to leave children under the age of 2 at home.

  • Only two parents may wait in the upstairs lobby, at the same time. There is not room for parents to wait downstairs. Parents upstairs can leave the building at least 10 minutes before class is over, or can walk across the classroom at the end of class, to meet students by the east door, so that they are not crossing paths with students coming up on the west side and creating congestion. Teachers will take children under 6 down the east stairs at the end of class.

  • Parents of children under 8 years old must remain on the premises. Parents of children 8 and over must remain close enough to get to their children within 10 minutes of being called, despite traffic.

  • When students are done with classes, they must leave immediately, even if they have siblings in class. No one can sit around waiting inside, or without an adult, who is not actually taking a class.

The following also applies to all:

  • Stay home for at least 14 days when: You/your student or someone in your household has tested positive for Covid-19, has symptoms of illness. Return only when your test is negative, symptoms are gone, and you are fever free, without medication, for at least 24 hours.

  • Stay home for at least 7 days when: You/your student has been exposed to someone with Covid-19, tested negative, and have no symptoms.

Let's continue to work hard to keep everyone safe and stay open for those who need it.
